Mission Statement The International eHealth Association (IeHA) is a professional not-for-profit association based in England. It was organized for the purpose of promoting and encouraging the prudent deployment of all eHealth technologies and systems worldwide for the ultimate aim of improving the health and well-being of people everywhere and the development of integrated systems of care that incorporate medicine, medical and health education, health management and public health. The IeHA is dedicated to the advancement of all aspects of eHealth in all countries and in all continents.
The IeHA Objectives * To provide a forum for the dissemination of accurate and reliable information regarding all aspects of eHealth, including developments in technology, system design and requirements, project implementation, evaluation and performance measurement.
* To promote the deployment of eHealth in all interested countries and regions of the world for the betterment of health care delivery, public health programs and initiatives, and public sector transparency.
* To promote the development of and adherence to professional and ethical standards in the various applications of eHealth, including professional and consumer practices and activities.
* To facilitate the exchange of knowledge and practical information gained from research and actual experience in the deployment of eHealth systems and technologies on a national, regional and international basis.
* To serve as an international resource for technical assistance for eHealth programs and initiatives.
* To promote and enhance the use of eHealth technologies for protecting, improving and sustaining the health and wellbeing of people everywhere. |
